What is AgentNotch, and who is it for?

AgentNotch is a macOS menu-bar app that watches your AI coding agents and flags the one that needs you. It's for developers who monitor multiple AI coding agents at once — Claude Code, Cursor, Codex and the rest — and are tired of scanning terminal and editor windows to find which one finished, stalled, or is waiting on an approval. It lives in your Mac's notch and shows each session's status, context and plan usage at a glance. Click a session to jump straight to it.

Which agents does it watch, and does it work on Windows or Linux?

AgentNotch watches Claude Code, Claude Cowork, Cursor (IDE and CLI), Codex (Desktop and CLI), Kimi CLI, OpenCode, Google Antigravity (desktop and CLI), Pi, and LM Studio for local models. It sees them inside Ghostty, iTerm2, Warp, VS Code and Conductor. It is macOS only — there is no Windows or Linux version, and none is planned.

How much does it cost, and is it a subscription?

AgentNotch is a one-time $9.99 purchase, not a subscription. Nothing recurs and the app is yours for good. Every update released in your first year is included; after that it keeps working with what you have, and you can buy a new licence whenever you want the newer releases.

Can I buy AgentNotch for my team?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Choose how many seats you need on this page and you get one license key that activates on that many Macs. Volume pricing starts at two seats: 10% off for 2–4, 15% off for 5–9, and 20% off for 10 or more, up to 50 seats in one purchase.

Is there a free trial, and what if I want a refund?

Yes — AgentNotch runs free for 14 days with no card. Buy when you're ready and it activates in place, with your setup carried over. If it turns out not to be for you, email support@agentnotch.app within 14 days for a full refund. Payment goes through Stripe, so your card details never touch our servers.

Does AgentNotch read my code or my API keys?

Accepted Answer

No. AgentNotch never reads your source code and never touches your API keys, tokens or agent accounts. It is 100% local: it reads the session status your agents already write on your Mac, and sends nothing anywhere. It is a commercial, closed-source app, but nothing it does requires an account or a connection.
